Oulu University Hospital and Cerenion sign a framework agreement for continued clinical studies
Cerenion Oy and Oulu University Hospital have signed a framework agreement that enables both the continuation of the current clinical study program, started under the BrainICU-project, and the commencement of new clinical studies in the future. The series of clinical studies is aimed at providing further real-world measurement data for the development of the Cerenion ART technology, and ultimately also real world evidence on the use of the technology from a clinical setting.
The collaboration is supported by the Oulu Health ecosystem, which consists of several key stakeholders from academia, the public sector, and the private sector. The aim of the ecosystem is to facilitate open collaboration and to accelerate innovation by bringing together various partners able to contribute to the needs of the health care sector. The ecosystem approach enables the combination of expertise from wireless information technologies and life science to introduce smart ICT solutions for delivering advanced, personalized, connected health service solutions.
